Come From Away – The Inspiring Broadway Musical
While in New York for the New York Times Travel Show we were very fortunate to see the Broadway Musical, Come From Away. We had all heard it was an amazing show, but it exceeded everyone of our expectations. It made us laugh, cry and experience every emotion in between. The heart-wrenching story was told with such beauty and grace and it made everyone of us so proud to call Newfoundland and Labrador home.
After the show, Newfoundland’s own Petrina Bromley was so kind to allow us backstage. It was an amazing experience and so wonderful to be able to meet her. In add to the excitement, Henry Winkler was also backstage. He was so moved by the show, when we heard there was a group of Newfoundlander`s there he came over to say hello to us and introduce himself. Somehow a perfect night got even better!
